About Project

World Liberty Financial (WLFI) is a politically connected DeFi ecosystem that has dominated crypto news cycles in 2025. Its dual-token structure—WLFI as governance and USD1 as a stablecoin—sets it apart. Following a July 2025 governance vote, WLFI became transferable, with over 99% of token holders backing the change. This milestone positioned WLFI for potential centralized exchange listings.

The project’s distinctiveness lies in its linkage to ALT5, a publicly traded Canadian company, effectively bridging WLFI with traditional stock markets. That structure, alongside its high-profile investors and political associations, creates both hype and scrutiny.

About Token

WLFI is an ERC-20 token deployed on Ethereum with a fixed supply of 100 billion. Its contract address is 0xda5e…cbef6 . The token grants governance rights, including votes on treasury management, listings, and ecosystem parameters. WLFI complements USD1, the stablecoin that has already found a home on Bybit with a live USD1/USDT market.

WLFI’s transferability and trading vote significantly changed its status. It is no longer locked and now depends on which centralized exchanges activate trading pairs.

Why a Listing on Coinbase Is Plausible

Coinbase already hosts dedicated WLFI price pages. However, these pages are labeled “not tradable.” Historically, Coinbase publishes asset pages well before launching live markets. Examples include assets that appeared on Coinbase’s informational site weeks prior to being added to the “Listing Roadmap” and eventually spot trading.

Coinbase operates a formal “Listing Roadmap,” which announces tokens being considered for listing. WLFI has not yet appeared on the roadmap, but the presence of price pages suggests Coinbase has completed at least basic integration. This could mean WLFI is in the internal evaluation pipeline.

That said, Coinbase listings for politically sensitive or controversial projects are less predictable. Compliance and regulatory considerations are especially high for WLFI due to its Trump affiliation and treasury structure. While the technical groundwork is visible, whether Coinbase proceeds depends on internal compliance approvals.
